01 / Google Docs
Documenting the work
I started with shared Google Docs to lay out service packages, recurring tasks, priorities, and milestones. As work grew, employees had trouble tracking what needed to happen across client accounts.
I’m Uswa, a project manager with a background in digital marketing. I’ve managed work for local businesses and helped teams find better ways to stay organized.
From shared documents to a custom operations platform · My role: identifying tracking problems and proposing a better workflow
Employees were having trouble keeping track of client work. We changed tools more than once, but tasks still got delayed. I realized we needed to rethink how client information and employee tracking fit together.
I helped move the process from shared documents to spreadsheets and then ClickUp. When the tracking problems continued, I came up with the idea for our own platform for employees to track client data and work.

02 / Spreadsheets
We moved to spreadsheets to track client status, service type, assignments, priorities, and notes. The screenshot shows our Google Sheets tracker, part of the spreadsheet stage of the process.
03 / ClickUp
We then moved to ClickUp to organize work by service area and track tasks, assignees, and priorities. Even with that change, our workflow still was not organized enough, and tasks continued to be delayed.
04 / Custom platform
I proposed creating our own employee platform to bring client data and work tracking together. The interface shown brings together a Client Manager, Task Board, and Team Trackers for client information, assignments, and daily progress.
Changing tools did not automatically solve the tracking problem. Each attempt helped me see more clearly what employees needed in order to follow the work. That led me to propose a platform built around the way our team operated.

When customers searched “pharmacy near me,” Lakeshore Pharmacy ranked outside the top 10 across most of its local area. That limited its visibility in local search results.
Each dot is a search from a different spot in a 7 × 7 grid around the pharmacy. Red means ranked far down; green means ranked at the top.
These results describe the displayed local ranking scans, not a universal search position or a measurement of sales. Rankings vary by search location and date.
